Sliding Scale/Reduced Fee Sessions
We offer sliding scale, reduced fee sessions with our Counselor Interns during academic semesters.
Individual: $20 (Adults & Teens)
Couples: $40
Why do you charge to see counselor interns?
Your $20 session fee covers administrative costs (software, office space, etc.). Our office does not make a profit from the interns’ learning experience, Dr. Salazar provides personalized supervision & expert training pro bono to the interns. Offering supervision & training allows for interns to provide quality mental health care to more clients than only offering a few reduced spots per year.

Session Policies
No Show Fee: Full session fee will be charged to the card on file if you fail to show for your appointment.
Late Reschedule or Late Cancel*: Reschedule or Cancel the same day, Full Session fee will be charged to the card on file. No Charge to Reschedule or Cancel Outside the 24-hour window.
*Clients may be offered 1 (one) grace late reschedule/cancel per year for emergencies.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your care will cost.
Notice to clients and prospective clients:
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
