Strengthening Wellness always offers a Safe Space for anyone seeking healing.

There are as many LGBTQ experiences as there are people; no two stories and realities are the same. We are committed to offering you a welcoming environment where you can be yourself without hesitation to work through your challenges.

You don’t need to come into session to educate your therapist on the basics.

We understand marginalization, oppression, and the complicated realities of living in Texas, and that being a part of the queer community is just one piece of who you are as a person. We spend our time in sessions listening to you and being open to your personal experiences.

We get it. And we’re always willing to learn more and to listen to you.

We can help you with:

  • Exploring sexual, romantic, or affectional orientation

  • Exploring your gender identity

  • Coming out to loved ones, friends, your workplace, yourself

  • Navigating the complications of dating

  • Exploring and navigating cultural oppression

  • Navigating holidays, family or work events with non-affirming persons

We can also help you with overall mental health needs in an affirming and safe space:

Anxiety & Worries | Depression & Sadness | Work Life Balance | Grief & Loss | Stress & Stress Management | Traumatic Experiences | Managing Distress | Burnout | Loneliness | Professional Challenges | Breakups & Relationships | Distress of the Modern World | And More…
